Upper Mattese Trunk Sanitary Relief
The purpose of this project is to provide a sufficient level of service in the sanitary sewer system during storm events and alleviate building backups. The project scope consisted of the construction of approximately 15,000 lineal feet of 8-inch to 36-inch diameter sanitary sewer. CDI provided the design for the upstream sewer reaches consisting of approximately 4,700 lineal feet of 21-inch sanitary sewer, including 200 feet of pipe in the tunnel, as well as the bank stabilization measures for the multiple creek crossings. Additionally, CDI provided all of the hydraulic modeling (HYDRA) analysis and reporting for the project.
Additionally, CDI completed the design survey scope for the nearly 15,000 lineal feet of sanitary sewer. The CDI survey team led all field and office efforts to complete a topographic survey, strip map survey, utility marking coordination and location, property records research for over 130 residential properties, and easement exhibits preparation for properties as needed.
