CDI provided professional structural engineering services for the TR 235 over Jordan Creek for the Shelby County Highway Department.
The project involved the removal and replacement of the existing two-span steel girder bridge on closed concrete abutments. CDI performed a hydraulic study to determine an appropriate waterway opening for the proposed bridge, structural analysis of the deck beams and substructure, foundation analysis for deep foundations, approach roadway design, and drainage design. Additional work included preparation of the bridge condition report, project development report, shop drawing review, and final design plans and specifications
