Louisville Zoo Harry Frazier Family Elephant Encounter
CDI provided surveying and civil site design services for the Louisville Zoo’s Harry Frazier Family Elephant Encounter. The project included the expansion of the exhibit’s yard area, an interior renovation of the elephant building, realignment of the pedestrian pathway between the Bongo Barn and African Outpost Restaurant, and all associated drainage improvements. CDI was also responsible for the site grading plan and details, the EPSC plan, and a demolition plan that included the details for the demolition of existing below ground moat walls.
