Great Rivers Greenway Data & Asset Management GIS Services
Following Great Rivers Greenways’ (GRG) solicitation for a GIS consultant, CDI was contracted to provide GIS and database management services. The project scope included review of existing greenway GIS data, analysis of the regional greenway network and local impacts, production of GIS-based maps, and incorporating GIS into selected GRG procedures and reports.
CDI since expanded these services by developing a custom GIS database for incorporating GIS mapping, system integrations, and data workflows into GRG’s greenway project management controls systems. Asset management services were also provided by CDI including GPS field data collection, life cycle cost analysis, and maintenance management planning for GRG’s greenway assets. Additionally, CDI assisted GRG with providing GIS mapping and data portals for their website. Project deliverables include the hosted GIS database, GIS mapping and data portals, custom asset management applications, GIS software implementation and training.
