University of Louisville Belknap Academic Classroom Building
Driven by a need for more classroom space, the University of Louisville demolished the Crawford Gymnasium to make space for a new classroom building with a quad bound to the east.
CDI was selected to provide site design and surveying services for this project. CDI coordinated with local utility companies for utility design and worked closely with the project team to design the site drainage, which included an underground detention system, realigning an underground concrete utility tunnel, and ensuring certain LEED credits were attained.
