Soldiers Memorial Military Museum Renovations

CDI completed the renovation design services for the Soldiers Memorial Military Museum and Court of Honor in the City of St. Louis. The project spanned two city blocks and included the surrounding streetscapes for both the museum and court of honor. Improvements included utility design and upgrades, design of replaced roadway between the two city block areas, curb extensions at six intersections surrounding two City blocks, pavement striping, and new public- and private-accessible paths throughout the site.

CDI provided extensive construction administration services, as excavation work in the downtown right of way uncovered unknown utilities due to the age of the infrastructure. CDI worked closely with the sewer and pavement contractors to provide timely, cost-effective solutions to any unanticipated conflicts with the utilities as they were discovered.
