Initially designed for up to 600 students, Fox Middle School built an expansion wing into its plans for the future. The middle school will be but one of three schools to share the Fox District's Friedman campus.

CDI was responsible for all site, utility and grading on the Fox Middle School project. Site design included drop-off and fire/emergency lanes, an outdoor courtyard/theater, and grass playing fields. Utility design specific to the middle school included storm sewers and detention facilities, while water, sanitary sewer and gas mains were designed for the overall campus. Tiered parking and creek bed swales were used in the grading to blend the new building into its topography.
