The City's Central West End in located in the central corridor of the city, just North of Forest Park. The area is a popular gathering place combining retail with urban living in a turn-of-the-century neighborhood. As part of a multi-million dollar development, the project hopes to invigorate the local community by attracting new businesses.
CDI provided site civil engineering services for improvements to streets, sidewalks, lighting and landscaping along Maryland Plaza, from Kingshighway to Euclid. A new state-of-the-art fountain will replace the existing fountain and be constructed in a new location to allow for better interaction and vehicle accessibility through the plaza. Storm water and utility design services were also provided.
