The new Renaissance Place at Grand provides a dynamic mixed-income community of public housing units, affordable housing and market rate rentals. Located in the heart of St. Louis' Midtown District, the development spans more than 30 acres and includes 815 housing units (106 units in Phase III) and a management/leasing building.

CDI provided roadway design for streets related to the housing community. Roadway design work involved horizontal and vertical alignments for new and existing streets as well as roadway pavement design. Utility design involved water and gas line services layout as well as storm drainage modeling and sanitary sewer design. Special attention was paid to the coordination of utilities and grading between the concurrent building site design package and the public improvements design package.
